Award Summary:
Funds are being used to expand trauma-informed, no-cost prevention programming that addresses and mitigates the impacts of adverse childhood experiences among youth. This investment supports two integrated initiatives, the Fun-Raiser Urban Mobile Playground and Youth Art, Learning and Leadership, which deliver evidence-based prevention, social-emotional learning, and arts-based engagement directly within neighborhoods, schools, and community settings. Resources sustain trained staff, consistent outreach, and year-round programming that combines safe play, mentorship, peer and family support, and prevention education. By integrating evidence-based curricula and a continuum of care across both programs, the initiative strengthens protective factors, builds resilience, and promotes healthy development for children and adolescents across diverse community environments.
