Funds are being used by the Jefferson Berkeley Alliance on Substance Use Prevention, in partnership with The Martinsburg Initiative, to launch The Jefferson Initiative in Jefferson County. The project expands school-based support, implements prevention curricula, launches a public education campaign, and provides summer programming. By addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences and building resiliency, the initiative works to reduce youth substance misuse and strengthen long-term community health.
