Award Summary:
Funds are being used to implement the Justice-Impacted Members Initiative, a recovery-to-work program serving justice-involved individuals across the Eastern Panhandle. This investment supports a coordinated continuum of care that begins pre-release and continues through recovery housing, peer coaching, cognitive-behavioral supports, and workforce placement. Resources fund stable, recovery-supportive housing, transportation, employment navigation, and partnerships with corrections, workforce agencies, and regional employers. By addressing housing stability, employment, and recovery support together, the initiative reduces relapse and recidivism, strengthens families, and creates sustainable pathways to long-term economic independence.
