Award Summary:
Funds are being used to expand MERGE (Mentoring, Education, Recovery, Guidance, and Encouragement), the evidence-based mentoring program of Lily’s Place, including the continued growth of MERGE Mobile to reach at-risk youth and families in community settings. This investment supports relationship-based mentoring and prevention services that connect youth with caring, consistent adults, strengthening confidence, belonging, and resilience. By delivering mentoring, education, recovery support, guidance, and encouragement both at the Lily’s Place Children’s Center and through mobile outreach, the program increases access to protective supports that reduce the risk of substance use and delinquent behavior while promoting healthy development for youth and families.
