Hampshire County Commission dba South Branch Valley Day Report Center
Project Name:
South Branch Valley Day Report Center Juvenile Services – Hampshire County
Award Received:
$250,000.00
Award Summary:
Funds are being used to establish a Juvenile Services Division at the South Branch Valley Day Report Center, expanding prevention, diversion, and family-centered supports for youth ages 12 to 17 in Hampshire County. This investment supports assessment-driven, evidence-based services delivered in partnership with courts, child welfare, and local schools to address school disengagement, behavioral health needs, and caregiver stress. Resources fund individualized service plans, skills groups, case management, and coordinated care focused on emotional regulation, trauma-informed coping, conflict resolution, and family engagement. With dedicated staff, transportation supports, and structured evaluation, the initiative improves attendance and behavior, reduces juvenile referrals, and creates a transparent, outcomes-driven model for youth diversion and family recovery in rural communities.
