Award Summary:
Funds are being used to establish the Pathways to Hope mentoring program in West Virginia for children and families impacted by domestic violence and abuse. This investment supports year-round, evidence-informed mentoring and enrichment activities that build hope, resilience, and strong community connections for youth ages 7 to 17. Through nature-based experiences, skill-building activities, career exploration, healthy habits, and ongoing mentorship, the program equips participants with protective factors that reduce the risk of substance misuse and other adverse outcomes. In addition, resources support program implementation and capacity-building to lay the groundwork for launching the first Camp HOPE in West Virginia, providing an intensive, safe, and supportive environment where children can heal, grow, and thrive.
