Funds are being used to implement Project HOPE (Healthy Opportunities through Prevention Education), a school-based prevention and mental health initiative serving students across Morgan County. This investment expands evidence-based prevention education and trauma-informed supports within K to 12 school settings, ensuring equitable access to early identification, intervention, and resilience-building services for youth impacted by adverse childhood experiences and familial substance use. Resources support a continuum of care that includes screening, brief intervention, referral to treatment, and therapeutic services, alongside classroom-based prevention and family navigation supports.
