Award Summary:
Funds are being used by West Virginia University Parkersburg to expand the Farm to School Agrication Program in Region 3. The program provides students with hands-on training in agribusiness, heavy equipment operation, and welding, building responsibility and career readiness. By engaging youth in meaningful skill development and connecting them to career opportunities, the initiative prevents substance use, promotes healthy choices, and strengthens the local workforce and economy.
