Award Summary:
Funds are being used to develop The Villages of SafeHaven, a secure, multi-home recovery community providing long-term, transitional housing and comprehensive support for women in recovery and their children. This investment supports construction of family-style homes and a central community center with integrated services, including an on-site medical clinic. Resources fund site development, home construction, furnishings, and certification to ensure safe, recovery-oriented living environments. By creating a gated, supportive community designed specifically for pregnant and parenting women, the initiative promotes family reunification, long-term stability, and healthier futures for mothers and children in southern West Virginia.
