Award Summary:
Funds are being used to expand recovery housing and community-based services for women and children in Clarksburg by acquiring and renovating a larger recovery campus. This investment transforms a nine-bed rental property into a 20 to 30 bed residential facility designed for women in recovery, including mothers with children, pregnant women, and postpartum residents. Resources support property acquisition, renovations, ADA-compliant upgrades, and furnishings for both the residential wing and a multipurpose community center. The facility will provide safe housing alongside evidence-based groups, prevention programming, family reunification supports, and community drop-in services, creating a regional recovery hub that significantly increases capacity and strengthens recovery pathways for women and families in North Central West Virginia.
