Award Summary:
Funds are being used by the Unity Center to become a state-certified Recovery Community Organization. The project includes hiring two full-time Peer Recovery Support Specialists and expanding programs such as a drop-in center, Nar-Anon meetings for families, and a non-emergency Narcan training and distribution site. By providing life skills programs, children’s prevention activities, and navigation for basic needs, the initiative strengthens recovery supports, builds community connections, and offers a safe, welcoming space for individuals in recovery.
