Award Summary:
Funds are being used by the Child Advocacy Center to expand its Upshur County Asset Building and Collaboration (ABC) Program by hiring a dedicated therapist and an additional social worker. The project provides evidence-based, trauma-informed therapies such as TF-CBT and PCIT while continuing its wraparound model to support students and families. By addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences and removing barriers to academic success, the initiative reduces school exclusion and long-term negative outcomes for at-risk youth in Upshur and Lewis Counties.
