Award Summary:
Funds are being used to expand faith-based recovery housing in Jackson County by establishing a new residential home for pregnant women and mothers with children. This investment supports the purchase of property and development of a family-centered recovery environment that addresses critical barriers to treatment, including fear of separation from children and limited access to safe, stable housing. Resources fund wraparound supports such as peer recovery services, parenting and life skills education, employment readiness, and connections to medication-assisted treatment, counseling, and primary care. By combining housing stability with faith-based and evidence-informed recovery supports, the initiative strengthens the regional recovery network, reduces relapse and homelessness, and creates a supportive pathway for women and their children to heal and thrive.
