Award Summary:
Funds are being used by the Child and Youth Advocacy Center to expand trauma-informed mental health services and prevention programming in Greenbrier, Monroe, and Pocahontas Counties. The project supports hiring an additional therapist to reduce waitlists, constructing an addition to increase capacity, and launching a Caregivers Café that offers peer support, education, and wraparound services. By combining evidence-based treatment for youth with resources for caregivers, the initiative works to break cycles of generational opioid misuse, strengthen families, and build healthier communities.
